(1) It is against the law for women to pump their own gas or change a flat tire.
(2) “Idiots” are not allowed to vote. This weird law in New Mexico is particularly relevant in an election year.
(3) In Las Cruces, it is against the law to carry a lunch box down Main Street.
(4) In Albuquerque, cabbies aren’t permitted to reach out and pull potential customers into their cabs.
(5) It’s a misdemeanor to trip a horse. It becomes a 4th degree felony if that horse is hurt.
